A Note From the Owner
Cory Canon
Owner
Clozetivity of Asheville
I bring over 20 years of construction expertise and an unmatched eye for detail to the custom closet industry. I began my career as a trim carpenter working alongside my brother, where I developed a deep appreciation for fine woodwork. Today, I personally design every custom storage system and install them myself, ensuring that my high standards for precision and craftsmanship are built into every project.
My hands-on approach is backed by serious professional credentials, including a Construction Management degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Business degree from the University of Mississippi. As a licensed North Carolina contractor, I understand exactly how structural trades work together. This rare combination of engineering knowledge and design expertise ensures that your closet is not only visually stunning but also structurally flawless and built to last.
An Asheville resident for 13 years, I am deeply rooted in the local community. When I'm not transforming disorganized spaces into functional closets, I am usually outdoors enjoying the Blue Ridge lifestyle—whether I'm focusing on personal fitness, hiking, fishing, or exploring the mountains with my 7-year-old son, Jude.
Sincerely,
Cory Canon

FAQ
Common Questions
We offer a complimentary in-home consultation with no obligation. This allows you to explore design ideas and pricing before making any decisions.
During your consultation, one of our professional designers will take detailed measurements of your space, evaluate your storage needs, discuss design options, and create a personalized design. They will walk you through the design process and show your space in 3D views and renderings.
From consultation to installation, the process typically takes 2-6 weeks depending on design revisions, material selections, and production schedule. We will provide you with a clear timeline during your consultation.
We use furniture grade 3/4″ thick thermally fused laminate (Melamine) material with all exposed edges - edge banded. Unlike others who use thinner materials that are more likely to bend, sag and distort their shape over time, our systems are built to last.
All custom projects are made in the United States - depending on your location, most are manufactured and shipped from our factory in North Carolina.
All custom closet projects include a limited manufacturer's warranty for added peace of mind. In addition, many independently owned Clozetivity locations offer a lifetime warranty on your custom closet system for as long as you own your home. Because warranty coverage may vary by location, we recommend confirming the specific details with your local Clozetivity team.
Most custom closet installations are completed within 1-2 days. Installation timelines vary based on the size and complexity of your custom project. For example, a reach-in closet can often be installed in half a day, while a standard walk-in closet may take one to two days. Multiple closets or larger closets with extensive cabinetry and specialty features may require three to four days for completion.
Our team is committed to making your installation experience smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. From careful preparation and clear communication to professional craftsmanship and thorough clean up, we handle every detail so you can simply enjoy watching your new custom closet come to life.
